In the previous post, I shared how to provision an App Service for Flask application using Azure CLI. This post is a follow-up post of how one logs into the Linux container hosting the web app via Web SSH.
SSH to the container is by no means meant for deploying one’s web app – there’s Deployment Center for this.
It comes handy though at times when one needs to verify the deployment process or needs to troubleshoot “it’s working on my computer” situations 🙂
To login, one puts the following into the web browser:

Flask server running in the production mode doesn’t restart automatically when one changes a py file or template. One can easily restart the App Service via CLI:
az webapp restart \ --name <YourAppServiceNameGoesHere> \ --resource-group <YourAppServiceResourceGroupGoesHere>
